Every year 18.6 million lives are taking away by Heart diseases and Stroke. CVD is top killer of human race. CVD is responsible for About half of non-communicable diseases deaths in the world.

An old proverb is 'Diabetes runs in family - Actually no one runs in family'. This is true for CVD also now a days.

As a doctor we are responsible to reduce deaths by controlling risk factors. About 80% of premature deaths by CVD and stroke can be saved by reducing risk factors.

As a doctor we can educate the public to keep themselves away from these risk factors

पित्त की थैली की पथरी (Gallbladder Stones): लक्षण, कारण और लेजर सर्जरी (Laparoscopic Surgery) की पूरी जानकारी नमस्ते दोस्तों! मैं डॉ. पुनीत अग्रवाल , पिछले 40 वर्षों से आगरा में एक सर्जन के रूप में कार्यरत हूँ। अक्सर मरीज मेरे पास तब आते हैं जब दर्द असहनीय हो जाता है। आज हम समझेंगे कि पित्त की पथरी क्या है और इसका सही इलाज क्या है। 1. पित्त की थैली की पथरी क्या है? (What is it?) पित्त (Bile) हमारे शरीर में वसा (Fat) को पचाने में मदद करता है। जब पित्त में कोलेस्ट्रॉल या बिलीरुबिन की मात्रा बढ़ जाती है, तो वह सख्त होकर पत्थरों का रूप ले लेती है। 2. मुख्य लक्षण (Symptoms): पेट के ऊपरी दाहिने हिस्से में अचानक और तेज दर्द। पीठ में या दाहिने कंधे के नीचे दर्द महसूस होना। जी मिचलाना या उल्टी आना। भारी खाना खाने के बाद दर्द का बढ़ना। 3. क्या दवा से पथरी गल सकती है?
